Product Details

For the purposes of this guideline older adult will be defined as 65 years and older; however, the individual practitioner should note that this age is not absolute because chronological age does not equal biological age. Aging is a multifactorial process involving the genetic, behavioral, and pathological factors that make each person unique. The goal of the guideline is to provide background on the biology of aging in the nervous system and to consider its implications for initial and ongoing neurologic assessment of the older adult, stressing the difference between this assessment and that of the younger adult.
