Stroke Conference 2020 Session Recordings

Watch the recordings from the 2020 Virtual Advances in Stroke Care Conference. Learners can evaluate 20 recorded sessions for 1 CE each and 15 posters (11 with presenter recordings) for 0.25 CE each.

Participants can receive up to 28.75 CE credits and 2.6 pharmacology hour credits for viewing the videos and posters and completing the evaluations. Individual certificates will be awarded for each completed evaluation.

Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, learners will be able to:
1. Recognize the essential nursing skills for the care and management of stroke patients throughout the continuum of care.
2. Describe the current guidelines directing stroke treatment options, criteria for treatment, and risks and benefits of treatment.
3. Discuss stroke risk factors, primary and secondary prevention strategies, etiology of stroke and diagnostic testing available for patients in both the hospital and community setting.
4. Discuss the different pathologies of cerebrovascular disease that are a risk and etiology of stroke in the adult population.
5. Describe the different roles of the multidisciplinary team across the continuum that cares for the stroke patient population and discuss the influence each has on stroke patient outcomes.
