This recording from a live webinar that occurred on August 18, 2021, was presented by the members of the AANN Neuroassessment Task Force. The webinar will discuss the importance of developing a standard neurological assessment for the adult hospitalized patient that can be used by nurses from all specialties. Neurological changes can be subtle, yet by using keen assessment skills the nurse can detect these changes and intervene to prevent further deterioration. Task force members will describe the process of developing a white paper and how they came to a consensus on the areas of focus.
